2017 Colin Hume, England, reknown English dance caller and choreographer
I was working on an interpretation of "Lady Banbury's Maggot" (not very successfully) and came upon your video of the 2017 Bath Ball. I am very impressed by the whole thing. Beautiful dancing, beautiful costumes, and the video is beautifully put together. I'm sure Anne Daye was also very impressed. I know you take much longer teaching dance than we do is England, but the results are outstanding. I don't believe any group of English dancers could produce such a superb display. Many congratulations.

I hope one day very soon to join you in France for one of your workshops. I am keenly interested in, and very impressed, with the work you are doing. All good wishes.
2023 Antony Heywood, Neterland, reknown English dance leader and choreographer
Dear Cécile, While preparing a new version of my website, I looked again at the films you have made of some of my dances. I am extremely impressed with both the quality of the films and that of the dancers. I'm particularly impressed with the way they fill out the musical phrase so completely and that where hands are taken, that occurs exactly on the beat, never early or late.
2023 Marjory Fennessy, England, English dance teacher and caller, artistic director of the dance group The Whirligig
Dear Cecile, Thank you so much for this lovely film of you and your group dancing Aunt Kit's Reel. I have watched and enjoyed it 3 times! It is an excellent dance by Antony, although I agree it is not an easy one.
2023 Paul and Sarah Collacot, England
We would like to thank you for the weekend. We enjoyed it. The warmth of your welcome, all the dances, the dance hall and the company gave us a lot of joy. We make the project to come back and we greet all the dancers.
2023 Brad Forster, Dance director of New London Assembly, Amhearst Early Music Festival, Pennsylvania, and dance caller
I loved what you gave us last year (2022) and loved what you gave us this year. Your focus on deep learning and perfection of dances, your going beyond the modern style and reintroducing historical style and stepping, your lecture/presentations, the dances you chose and their wonderful tunes, plus yoga — all of that is deeply appreciated. By the way, I’d lost the copy of Jog On that you gave me last year, and then after NLA I found it again. Congratulations on that; it is a wonderful recording. Once again, thank you for all you gave us. Your teaching and presence (and Eric’s too) are greatly appreciated.
